EOU’s low-residency program offers immersive learning opportunities to help you reach your potential. The two-week summer residency and wilderness retreats let you engage in writing that embraces the Pacific Northwest’s deep, abiding connection to the land. Our faculty and guest lecturers will stimulate your creativity during intensive poetry, fiction and nonfiction workshops. You can also make lasting connections by networking with other writers.

With the optional Young Adult Writing emphasis, you can learn to write stories that inspire young readers and help them understand the world.
